Noojee Trestle Bridge Restoration

Noojee No. 7 Trestle Bridge Restoration 2007-2008

In 2007-2008 the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) recieved government funding to restore the Noojee Trestle Bridge.

The Noojee and District Historical Society at this time worked closely with the company completing the restoration and they provided us with photo's and videos at the conclusion of the project which can be viewed below.

At the projects end the Society was informed that the engineering done on the bridge would allow it to withstand the weight of a steam locomotive traveling over the top.
